DOCUMENTS TO USEFUL DATA

Extract tables, key-value pairs and fields

Bring useful document data into your workflow. Extract table rows, key-value pairs and individual text fields from PDFs and images, then produce structured JSON, XML or an editable Excel workbook.

Upload a PDF

Review your data before converting. Usage limits depend on your plan.

Illustrative output
Tables → Repeating rows and line items
Key-value pairs → Invoice number, date, total
Fields → Names, headings, references

Output: JSON · XML · Excel

Three kinds of document data

Tables provide repeating rows such as invoice items. Key-value pairs link labels to values, such as Invoice number: INV-123. Individual fields capture text such as a heading, name or reference. Review the detected data before mapping it.

Save the extraction and output rules

Create named fields for reusable regions, customize JSON or XML with DQL, or retain the document layout in Excel. Whole-table mappings can follow growing or moved tables when headers and context remain recognizable. Saved templates support bulk conversion and API access on eligible plans.

How it works

  1. Upload a sample. Choose your document and output format.
  2. Review and customize. Check detected text, tables and fields, then adjust your output.
  3. Convert and reuse. Download the result and save a template for matching files.

Extract tables, key-value pairs and fields: common questions

What is the difference between a table and a key-value pair?

A table contains repeating rows and columns, such as invoice line items. A key-value pair links a label to a value, such as Invoice number: INV-123. Individual fields capture standalone text such as a heading or name.

Can I extract data without sending documents to the cloud?

An offline installation processes documents in your own environment after installation and setup. Contact us for a local copy and installation licensing.

Can I reuse extraction rules through an API?

Yes. Save a template and use its ID with the conversion API on eligible plans. The template applies the same extraction mappings and output rules to compatible documents.
